This policy explains how Encore.Film handles information for people requesting films, connecting with friends, and registering theatres.
What we collect
Encore collects the information needed to run the service: your account details, saved movies, screening requests, theatre preferences, approximate location context, connections, and notification preferences. If you register a theatre, we also collect theatre profile and contact details.
How we use it
We use this information to show relevant movies and screenings, count local demand, help theatres understand real audience interest, manage requests, send service notifications, and keep the product reliable.
Sharing
Encore may share aggregated or request-level demand signals with participating theatres so they can evaluate screenings. We do not sell personal information. We use service providers for hosting, authentication, email, analytics, maps, and related product operations.
Notifications
If you opt in, Encore may contact you about movies you requested, ticket availability, account activity, and related service updates. You can update notification preferences from your account settings.
Your choices
You can update your account, theatre, location, and notification preferences in Encore. To ask about access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests, contact hello@encore.film.
